I am co-facilitating a small group. Our focus in on prayer. And during the introductory session we all agreed to:

1. Read the bible daily.

2. Memorize scripture.

3. Pray daily.

I am doing these thing and spending a considerable amount of time preparing and praying for the women in the group. While praying for them and writing God is doing a number on me.

I am not certain whether I should share…or not. Thus, this post is probably a little more personal than the past posts. Because as He does this number on me I am very aware of change lingering on the horizon.

So today’s post…ugh…

I am going to write and post…no editing because I may just slap a quote up and RUN!!!

I need your help…what would you like to read? What would help YOU make the necessary adjustments in your life to be ALL that God called you to be?

Please tell me either in the comments or via email.

Please…

Pretty please…

Okay. I’ll stop begging and give you a few areas of possible interest.

  • Spiritual Growth
  • Bible Study
  • Writing (for publication)
  • Self-Publishing
  • Pursuing Your Goals

That is all I got.

The Passage

Read the passage: Psalm 19 (ESV, NIV, and NLT). Pick one or all. You can also pull out your bible and read it.

In this passage David is praying for cleansing from his sins—hidden and willful sins. One translation called his hidden sins, his “presumptuous sins”. He prayed that his sins would no longer have dominion over him.

Dominion…

Control…

Rule…

Power over him.

I believe it would be a sin to have a God-given gift that I keep to myself. It was never meant for just me. It was meant for His glory.

I believe it would be a sin to assume (or presume) the opportunity to share that gift would just POP up.

I also believe it is time to stop baby-stepping.

Okay…I’m hitting “Publish” before I erase it all. But that too would not be for His glory but in preservation of my pride.

No more…

“May he give you the desire of your heart

and make all your plans succeed.”

Psalm 20:5b
