Have you ever had a moment when you were determined to encourage another and as the words exited you immediately knew it was meant for you to hear too?

This happened to me today.

As I see the end of the month nearing I’m excited but I realize I must decide on what will happen after my 31 days come to an end.

The end of 31 Days in the Word will not be the end of blogging. However, it has helped me explore the type of blog I’d like to have in the future. So, as I see it my future starts now. This minute because the next is not promised.

Because there are no guarantees but we can live it up NOW trusting God with the rest.

The Passage

And I am certain that God, who began the good work within you, will continue his work until it is finally finished on the day when Christ Jesus returns. (Philippians 1:6 NLT) (Read it.)

The Wrap Up

I know this is technically not the end. Well, not unless the Lord says differently. But from my perspective I see this challenge having done what it was meant to do…encourage me to write. And I’ve done that.

Along the way, I’ve noticed that I want to test my writing style and voice a bit. I want to dive deeper in the word and challenge myself to write about the Word in the real world. Starting right now.

I think this is why I’ve enjoyed writing Shattered so much. So, for the next few days I’m going to aim to finish it. I would love to remove the “To be continued” by October 31st.

[Oh my…oh my…. I challenge in a challenge.]

Are you with me?

He is Faithful

In closing I’d like to share part of the words I wrote for another in hopes of encouraging you too…

“…hold on.

“Hold on to His unfailing love. Hold on to His promises. Hold on to the wisdom of who He is knowing He is doing a mighty work in you.

“His word says He that begins a good work in us is faithful to complete it. But it doesn’t detail the tears, mishaps, doubt, frustration and sometimes the anger that joins us on that road toward “completion”. But He is faithful.”

To you dear one, know that God is still working on us. It may get messy. It may be ugly. But the good God is working out in us will do exactly what He has purposed it to do. Of that I am certain. Because I believe…

I pray you do too.

God bless.
