QUOTES

“Unless commitment is made, there are only promises and hopes; but no plans.” – Peter Drucker

“There’s a difference between interest and commitment. When you’re interested in doing something, you do it only when circumstance permit. When you’re committed to something, you accept no excuses, only results.” – Unknown

TASK

What do you choose now? What commitments must be made to make that choice a reality? Why do you choose it? Is it for yourself, your family, others?

ADVANCE TASK

Again…write it down. Also, consider completing the pledge below.

Here is a resource I’ve saved for many years. Maybe this can assist you in the Advance Task.

My Getting the Life I Deserve Pledge

This is my year to be the woman I’ve always wanted to be.  This year I will put [insert your name] first.  Starting [insert date], I will focus on taking the steps to achieve my goals.  Ever since [insert] I’ve known that I want to [insert].  Today I will create a plan to realize my dreams. This is my year to achieve four goals:

1.

2.

3.

4.

Negative factors, real and imagined, will no longer be obstacles to my success.  To get over [insert obstacle #1], I will stop [insert].  To get over [insert obstacle #2], I will pray that [insert].  To get over [insert obstacle #3], I will plan to [insert].  I know that I will be successful because it is my dream to [insert].

To stay on track, I will have my friend [insert] check in on my progress every week/month/quarter (choose one) and hold me accountable.  This is my personal 2013 pledge to myself so that I can realize my dreams and live the wonderful life I fully deserve.
