I won't keep you long today. I have so many posts to make but things have been really busy at The True Vine Online. I have been writing to complete the book and writing to finish some new programs. I am literally exhausted. But my excitement for what's to come won't let me sit still. Why should I? I will have more details soon. Here's what I have for today. This time of year I sit and review my yearly plan. I acknowledge my accomplishments. I evaluate my failures. I begin to plan for what I believe is coming in the New Year.

What if resolutions are not enough... I have never really thought of my plans or written goals as New Year’s Resolutions but I guess in some ways that have been. I was determined to act a different way. I was resolving to have certain changes in my life. What if resolutions are not enough? What if a made up my mind…again…is not enough? What if formally expressing my intent (writing my goals) is not enough? What if God wants more for me than I could resolve, intend, want, need? What if resolving to an action, plan, course, or procedure limits me and places unnecessary perimeters… …boxes me in… …stifles me… Resolutions are not enough... Resolutions are not enough. I’ve decided to chase hard after God. To seek His face. To seek the warm timber of His voice. To bask in His love. And to be a reflection of Him. If I do these things I’m certain my life will be different. But wait…isn’t that a resolution? My Friends Get Real with Me 11/15/2011
It's been quiet around here. Not quite an oasis for crickets...but my presence has been hit or miss. There's a good reason. For a year or so I've been on this interesting journey. The journey was brought on by heartbreak, lingered due to my stubbornness, brought to its knees by my surrender, and resurrected by my loving father. When the smoked cleared the pieces of my life where never more clear. More real. As a result, I began calling those closest to me and conducting a survey. My friends and loved ones kept it real. I asked, they answered. I learn how others see me. I was humbled, shocked, brought to tears, and sooo much more. In the end, I am slowly transforming my life.
